If server installation was selected, the installer asks for Service Optimization logon information that Xoom will use to retrieve information from the local Service Optimization instance, and to perform changes to it. Ideally, the user used for this would be specifically created for Xoom and wouldn’t actually be a real user that can log onto the system. It is recommended to manage the access to Xoom through .NET communication infrastructure configuration files, which support user- and group-based permissions.
